Instead of mimicking traditional architectural styles, the design emphasizes the inherent beauty and atmosphere of the site itself. The building’s location on a tidal flat surrounded by the lake and bamboo forest inspired a design that evokes the interplay between clouds, mist, and nature.

Blending Form with Environment

To minimize its visual impact on the landscape, the Visitor Center features a decentralized layout, with interconnected volumes that reduce its perceived scale.
