The genesis of THERM dates back to the renovation of the “Lanak Villa” in 2018. In the heart of the villa’s garden, a buried room lay hidden, awaiting its metamorphosis. It was here that the seeds of imagination were sown, fueled by a desire for simplicity, tranquility, and harmony with nature. A chance conversation between architects and client breathed life into this vision, paving the way for THERM’s creation.

The project began with the expansion of the existing room, culminating in the creation of a thermal bath nestled within the earth. Demolishing stone walls and integrating steel framing, the architects seamlessly merged old and new, anchoring THERM within its surroundings. Steel sheets and a protective coating added the finishing touches, ensuring durability and longevity.
